Architectural Control Committee (ACC) – Purpose and Authority
The Architectural Control Committee (ACC) is established to uphold the aesthetic standards and uniformity of the River Run subdivision, ensuring all improvements are in harmony with the community’s design and character. Prior to beginning any construction, alteration, or addition on a property—including buildings, fences, landscaping, or exterior modifications—owners must submit detailed plans and specifications to the ACC for review and written approval. The ACC evaluates submissions based on criteria such as external design, material quality, color, workmanship, and compatibility with the surrounding homes and topography.
The Committee has broad discretion to approve or deny plans, and may also impose reasonable limitations on elements like driveway design or tank placement. The ACC plays a critical role in preserving property values and the overall visual appeal of the neighborhood.
